FAGULOUS NEW RESIDENCE!
My new roomie and I are entirely, unequivocally, indisputably GAY. We took a pile of hand-me-down furniture and worthless nicknacks and create a pretty damned cool living room! I'll have to take pics and post them for ya's. First we got a dark green leather sofa from a member of our church (Episcopal) and this sorta native-american upolstered chair and ottoman. Both pieces had been in her town-house in the suburbs. She's as old as the pope was (84) but she has more energy than I do at 23. She recently moved into a small apartment and needed a smaller set, so she gave us the leather set for almost NOTHING. And we built an entertainment center out of brick and old boards. It's just wonderfully urban and close to downtown and close to the theatre district and our church and our favorite coffee shop. LOCATION, Mary, Location! I'm very pleased with my new apartment. OH, and we have interesting lesbian neighbors that ignore the no pets policy and own a veritable petting zoo, however there is no noticable odor in their apartment from their cats -- none whatsoever (very clean lesbians). I'm not opposed to cats as long as the litterbox in emptied regularly enough to avoid a stinky house. I'm rambling now, sorry.... I'm typing this at work in between customers and I keep losing my train of thought. Where was I? OH... My roomie and I decided to toast our new livingroom with some Blue Moon Belgian White Ale and also some smirnoff twisted black cherry. I AM SOOOOO HUNGOVER It's pitiful. I'm just sitting here, half-asleep, typing and listening to Wanda Wisdom's podcast@ http://www.luckybitchradio.com . This is my monday morning ritual.
WEll KiDDiEs.... It's time to get some work done.
