"Southern Silence"

Sorry my postings have been so sporadic... work is HELL Right now.. I seldom have a day off... and I'm not supposed to use the company PC's for personal use. I've been sick the last couple of days....... fever.... aches.... blah... blah..... doing better today tho.
So.... down to the dirt...
A couple of weeks ago my cousin died in her sleep... no explaination so far that I've heard... she was 29 years old and presumed healthy. How does a healthy 29 year old woman die in her sleep... boredom? The family denies that drugs might have been the cause and if the medical examiner deemed her demise the result of an overdose her parents would likely sweep it under the rug. We all knew she'd had problems with drugs and heavy drinking in the past... she apparently told her parents that her act was squeaky clean now and that she'd turned over a new leaf. As far as I know, she never did any alcohol rehab or recieved any official help with the drug problem. I'm fairly convinced that she overdosed and my family just doesn't want the truth known. Southern Silence I've heard it called... unpleasant things aren't spoken of. The rugs of Kentucky households must have trap doors under them for all the sweeping they do to keep up appearances. ...
